Guy Lafleur isn't a fan of the new NHL, but there's one player who reminds him a bit of himself in his glory days. Lafleur, who turns 56 on Thursday, was asked which of the current players conjures images of himself. "Gee, it's tough because I don't like to compare," he said. "I'd say ... not with any pretension, maybe Sidney Crosby. But as a right winger instead of a centre. It reminds me a little bit of the way I skated and things like that. And he's a hard worker and he's getting involved. He's not sitting there waiting to see what's going to happen; he creates all the occasion and he's helping his teammates." Not much else about today's game thrills him, as he said yesterday.
