Wild left wing Andrew Brunette sat out Saturday's game against the Red Wings because of a lower-body injury, ending his streak of 509 consecutive games played.
The streak was the NHL's longest active mark.
He last missed a game Dec. 31, 2001, because of a shoulder contusion.
