Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has acquired forward Nick Tarnasky from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for a conditional selection in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

The dispute between the NHL and a newly formed Russian hockey league over Alexander Radulov appears headed for court, according to an Associated Press.

The Predators on Tuesday suspended Alexander Radulov indefinitely without pay for electing to stay with Salavat Yulaev Ufa of Russia’s new Continental Hockey League rather than return to his NHL club, reported by Yahoo.
