Hurricanes forward Scott Walker is expected to be sidelined for six weeks after surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left hand, according to an Associated Press report on Monday.

The 14th overall pick in this past June’s NHL draft Zach Boychuk signed a three-year entry level deal with the Hurricanes on Saturday, as reported by Yahoo.
