Jackets Add Blunden To Roster

Press Release - The Blue Jackets have added forward Mike Blunden to the roster on emergency recall from the Syracuse Crunch, Columbus’ AHL affiliate, club GM Scott Howson announced on Saturday.

Blunden has registered 29 penalty minutes and a +1 plus/minus rating in 21 games with the Blue Jackets this season. Chicago’s second pick, 43rd overall, in the 2005 Entry Draft, he has collected 4-5-9 and 32 penalty minutes in 15 games with the Crunch this season since being assigned to the club on January 1. He has tallied 37-55-92, 242 penalty minutes and a cumulative plus/minus rating of +7 in 193 career AHL games.
