NHL Wants Court To Toss Balsillie's Bid For Coyotes

ESPN - The NHL has asked a bankruptcy court to throw out Jim Balsillie's bid to buy the Coyotes.

The league is basing their request on its overwhelming rejection of the Canadian billionaire as a potential owner.

"We voted to deny approval to Mr. Balsillie because we concluded he lacks the good character and integrity required of a new owner" under NHL bylaws, said Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs, chairman of the league's board of governors. [READ]
