Boston Sends Ward Back To Carolina

ESPN - The Bruins have traded defenseman Aaron Ward back to the Hurricanes.

Ward helped Carolina win the Stanley Cup in 2006, and Boston receives forward Patrick Eaves and a 2010 fourth-round draft pick in the deal.

Ironically enough, Ward will now be a teammate of Scott Walker, who famously punched the defenseman in the face during Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. [READ]
