| 14th July, 2009 - 8:21 am |  ESPN - The Chicago Blackhawks have fired Dale Tallon, according to a report from Comcast Sportsnet in Chicago reported late Monday night.
Stan Bowman will reportedly take over as general manager.
Tallon had trouble recently when the team didn't mail out qualifying offers in time to a number of free agents, including rookie of the year candidate Kris Versteeg. All of the players ultimately signed with the team but not before the players association filed a grievance. [READ] |
