Kovalev Signs 2-Year, $10M Deal With Senators

ESPN - The Senators have signed forward Alex Kovalev to a two-year deal on Monday.

ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun reports the deal is worth $10M, $5M per year.

Kovalev couldn't hammer out a contract to return to the Canadiens, so he reached a deal with the rival Senators. Kovalev has played 16 seasons in the NHL, the previous six with Montreal. [READ]
