Mikael Samuelsson Signs With Canucks

AP - Free agent forward Mikael Samuelsson signed a three-year deal with the Canucks on Friday, according to an Associated Press report.

“Obviously (the money) was the key, I shouldn’t lie,” Samuelsson said in a telephone conference call after signing the deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Samuelsson spent the past four seasons in Detroit, winning the Stanley Cup in 2008. The 32-year-old has 86 goals and 208 points in 466 career NHL games. [READ]
