 AP - Hurricanes forward Andrew Ladd is recovering from an emergency appendectomy, the team said Friday.
Ladd underwent the procedure Thursday at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, and the left wing is at home recovering, general manager Jim Rutherford said before the Hurricanes' game against the Maple Leafs.
