Doan: Coyotes Are Going To Get Better
16th March, 2009 - 6:44 pm
NHL.com - Coyotes captain Shane Doan insists that his team is going to get better over the season's final weeks.

"We're going to be better," Doan said on Sunday morning. "We are because we've got so much talent. We'll figure this out. The next 13 games will be better. I guarantee it."

Phoenix is 28-35-6, and has lost five straight games.

"There has to be a competition amongst the group to see who's going to show that they want it," Doan said. "If you want it, you have to go get it. That's the biggest thing...We have skill, we just have to make sure that we want it enough. And that's every single guy, myself included. There has to be a willingness to do whatever it takes and you have to be scared of losing." [READ]
