Isles Will Trade Guerin To Contender?

Newsday - The Islanders are reportedly expected to trade captain Bill Guerin to a contender.

A source close to Guerin claims that the Islanders have a deal in place to trade him.

Carolina and Buffalo have plenty of cap room to accommodate the remaining $1.025 million on Guerin's salary, while Montreal and the Rangers are believed to have room as well.

Guerin did not play in the Islanders' 2-0 win on Saturday night. [READ]
