Madden Confident Devils' Sutter Will Stay

New York Post - New Jersey's John Madden is confident that head coach Bruce Sutter will return to the bench next season.

"I think the team is very focused," said Madden. "We have had a lot of coaching changes and dealt with a lot of stuff like that.

"This is the first I've heard of this. I'm sure [Brent Sutter] is coming back."

A report on Saturday questioned whether Sutter would return for the 2009-10 season.

"To be honest, I don't know where it came from," Sutter said. [READ]
