| 14th January, 2009 - 10:32 am |  ESPN - The Islanders acquired forward Junior Lessard from the Thrashers for defenseman Brett Skinner and assigned the right winger to AHL Bridgeport on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old Lessard had six goals and five assists in 41 games this season with AHL Chicago.
The 25-year-old Skinner played 11 games with the Islanders this season but failed to record a point. [READ] |
