Sundin Picks Canucks Over Rangers

ESPN - Mats Sundin has signed with the Vancouver Canucks for the remainder of the season.

"He's real happy to have made a decision," Sundin's agent J.P. Barry said Thursday evening. "He's excited with the opportunity that the Canucks will offer him."

Barry and Canucks GM Mike Gillis were still working out the final financial details of the deal but it's expected it will be worth somewhere around $10 million, pro-rated, for one season.

Sundin was also considering the New York Rangers. [READ]
