Brodeur Will Sit Monday

ESPN - The Devils say that goalie Martin Brodeur will sit on Monday against the Sabres with an elbow injury.

Brodeur was set to undergo an X-ray and MRI examination Sunday.

He left New Jersey's win over Atlanta on Saturday night but was still credited with the victory.

The win was No. 544 in his career leaving him seven short of Patrick Roy's all-time record of 551. Brodeur also needs just five shut-outs to tie Terry Sawchuk's all-time mark of 103. [READ]
