Hockey Canada To Name Yzerman 2010 Director

ESPN - Hockey Canada will send out an advisory on Friday telling the media to be in Ottawa on Saturday afternoon when they are expected to name Steve Yzerman an executive director for the 2010 Olympic Games.

Yzerman will replace Wayne Gretzky, who was executive director for the team that won the gold medal at Salt Lake City in 2002 and failed to medal at Torino, Italy, in 2006.

Gretzky is still expected to have an advisory role on the 2010 team. [READ]
