Caps' Fedorov Spends Time On Defense

ESPN - Capitals center Sergei Fedorov has scored 472 regular-season goals, but recently spent time on the team's defensive line during practice.

Washington has one fewer defenseman on their roster than most teams carry, and the move is likely just an insurance policy.

"If you've got a guy that can go up and back, then that gives you a little more flexibility on the decisions you're going to make," coach Bruce Boudreau said. [READ]
