Datsyuk Takes 'Break-Up' In Stride

Detroit News - Pavel Datsyuk has taken his 'break-up' with line-mate Henrik Zetterberg in stride, according to Detroit News.

Red Wings coach Mike Babcock has a plan to put Datsyuk and Zetterberg on separate lines this season.

"I start crying," Datsyuk said Thursday. "I can't sleep two days. But now everything is fine."

Datsyuk and Zetterberg formed a nice one-two punch.

"I help Hank, Hank helped me," said Datsyuk.

"Every year we start like that (on separate lines). It's not new.

"It's a long season. Nobody knows. I'm happy we're still on the same team. I hope we finish on the same team."

Instead of playing on a wing with Zetterberg, the move allows Datsyuk to play center.

"I'm more comfortable at center, more dangerous," he said. [READ]
