Tortorella, who led the Lightning to the Stanley Cup championship and won the Jack Adams Award in 2004, was relieved of his duties by the team on Tuesday. The 49-year-old, who had one year remaining on his contract, guided the Lightning to a league-worst record this past season. [READ] |
