Pens Dismiss Sens' Murray's Game-Throwing Claim

ESPN - Ottawa head coach Bryan Murray claims that the Penguins "tanked" their final game of the season in order to avoid the Flyers and face his underdog Senators, according to ESPN.com.

Sidney Crosby did not play in Pittsburgh's season finale, adding fuel to Murray's fire.

"You guys all know -- they wanted to play Ottawa," Murray said Monday. "That's fine. It was fairly obvious from the drop of the puck."

"First of all, it's so ridiculous that I don't want to even comment," Penguins coach Michel Therrien said.

"There's stuff said all the time," Crosby added. "I don't think we're worried about it. We trust the character and pride in this room." [READ]
