Numminen Plays First Game Since Heart Surgery

ESPN - Buffalo defenseman Teppo Numminen played his first game since having open-heart surgery almost seven months ago on Saturday night, according to the Associated Press.

He played for sixteen minutes in the Sabres' season-ending win over the Bruins.

"I haven't played for many months, so I was nervous at the start with my timing," Numminen. "As the game went on, I felt more comfortable." [READ]
