Flames' Iginla Named NHL's "First Star " Of The Week

yahoo.com - Flames right wing Jarome Iginla on Monday was named the NHL’s “First Star” of the week.

Also honored were Penguins right wing Petr Sykora and Panthers goaltender Tomas Vokoun.

Iginla notched five goals and eight points in four games as the Flames ended the week tied with the Wild and Avalanche for the top spot in the Northwest Division.

The 30-year-old All-Star tallied at least one goal in each contest on the week as Calgary posted a 2-2-0 record. [READ]
