| 15th March, 2008 - 12:52 am |  AP - Hurricanes' forward Ray Whitney will have ankle surgery on Saturday and could miss the rest of the regular season, according to an Associated Press report.
The Hurricanes announced during the first period of a game at Buffalo on Friday night that Whitney might miss three weeks.
Whitney traveled with the team for its two-game road trip, which opened at Chicago on Wednesday, and will have surgery once the Hurricanes return to Carolina. [READ] |
