| 26th February, 2008 - 1:15 pm |  FoxSports - According to a report Tuesday on TSN's Web site, the Lightning have agreed to trade center Brad Richards to the Stars.
Richards heads to Dallas along with goalie Johan Holmqvist. The Stars receive goalie Mike Smith, center Jeff Halpern and forward Jussi Jokinen.
"I'm excited," Richards said Tuesday, according to TSN. "I think I need to get refreshed with a new beginning. When Jay (GM Feaster) started talking about different teams, Dallas is one I had my eye on. They've got a good chance to win right now. They've got some great players that hopefully I'll be able to play with." [READ] |
