Afinagenov's Return To Sabres Cut Short

ESPN - Maxim Afinogenov's return to the Buffalo Sabres was cut short on Monday after he aggravated a groin injury during practice, according to the Associated Press.

"We don't really know how bad it is. He's just feeling it again," Sabres' Coach Lindy Ruff told the AP. "He's trying to get through it, but it's been a long time. We felt [Tuesday] would be the day we'd get him back in, and we thought everything looked like a go."

Afinagenov has missed the last 13 games because of the injury. [READ]
